OpenScale integrates with Apple Health using the HealthKit framework to read and/or write health-related data such as body weight and body composition metrics.

This data is accessed only with your explicit permission through Apple's Health permissions system.

Health data accessed through HealthKit:

Is used solely to display and manage your weight tracking data within the app
Is stored locally on your device
Is never transmitted to external servers
Is never sold, shared, or used for advertising purposes

Information We Collect

OpenScale does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to the developer or any third parties.

Third-Party Services

OpenScale does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device and managed through Apple’s system frameworks such as Apple Health where applicable.
